Hilary NeumannToddler GuideHilary is an AMI Assistants to Infancy Guide who leads the Iris Community at Fiore. She began her teaching career in elementary education and taught middle school math and science before moving to New York City where she found her passion for Montessori and Early Childhood Education. She spent time as an assistant in a Montessori Toddler Community and began training thereafter. She is originally from Akron, OH. She enjoys spending time with family, watching movies new and old, traveling and baking.
Diana Benavides AcostaBilingual Toddler AssistantDiana has worked with children for over 10 years. She became interested in Montessori when she discovered the positive impact it had on children. Diana particularly enjoys working with children between the ages of 1 and 3 years because it is during this stage when we are able to best observe, teach and learn from children. Diana lives in Virginia with her husband and 3-year-old daughter.
Katherine CaseyToddler AssistantKatherine Casey attended Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Psychology. She focused mainly on ontology and developmental psychology. Following her years at Virginia Commonwealth University, Katherine went on to work abroad as an English teacher in Thailand. Katherine enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible when she isn’t teaching, whether that be rock climbing, hiking, camping, or biking.

Minaxi PunjabiToddler GuideMinaxi Punjabi is a trained Montessori Infant-Toddler Guide and has been working with young children for over 11 years. She has also attended the Primary (3 - 6 year-old) Training. Minaxi's interests are diverse and touch on Food and Hospitality, IT, Non-profits and Neuroscience. She continues to volunteer with several non-profit organizations that share her passion for community building and creating a higher quality of life for all. Minaxi is a life-long student of Ayurveda and enjoys cooking and living a healthy lifestyle.
Karla ChavezToddler Bilingual AssistantKarla has a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration. Her work experience has been in banking and in sales. Fiore Montessori represents a new chapter in Karla’s journey and working with children has been the most wonderful and rewarding experience.
Karla VillonToddler Bilingual AssistantKarla graduated with a degree in general psychology. She has worked with children in situations of child abuse and child labor in the Juconi Foundation, also in a home for orphaned children, taken courses on child attachment, interpretation of drawing, post-traumatic stress. She has also carried out projects on drug abuse in adolescents from low-income schools in Ecuador and did internships in a psychiatric hospital with patients in the process of reintegration, in addition to performing professional practices with prisoners in the process of release from the jail of the city of Guayaquil Ecuador.
