Adolescent Guide

 

 

Fiore Montessori seeks an energetic, passionate and dedicated AMI Montessori Guide to join our Junior High program, for ages 12-15.

 

Conveniently located at our Leesburg Pike campus on 4.5 rural acres, just 20 miles outside of Washington, DC, the renovated "village-style" school grounds serve children ages 3 months to 15 years.

 

Our adolescent program, currently in its second year, offers lectures, labs, library, kitchenette, dining, and conversation space complete with lockers. The outdoor campus space includes a basketball court, soccer field, stage for drama productions, and a swimming pool.

 

Applicants for the Adolescent Guide position must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Experience working with and/or teaching math or science to middle or high school students is a plus. In addition, the ideal applicant must demonstrate strong spoken and written communication skills, humility, professionalism, integrity and respect for adolescents. Fiore is dedicated to supporting its guides with competitive salaries commensurate with education, experience and roles/responsibilities. Salary range $55-85K. Benefits include health, matching 401k, 8 wks. vacation plus holidays, professional and growth opportunities, plus a tuition allowance for children.
